    Product Description

The Flat Countersunk Head Split Drive Anchor 1/4" x 1-1/2", is a one piece anchor, with a split type mechanism on the working end. As the anchor is driven to the hole, the mechanism compresses and expands to the wall of the hole. Minimum ambedment for the Split Drive Anchor is fixture thickness + 1-1/8" for proper anchoring.

The Split Drive Anchor can be installed in concrete, grout-filled block and stone, The 1-1/2" anchor can be used with a fixture thickness up to 3/8" to allow the minimum embedment of 1-1/8".

Installation Instructions for Countersunk Split Drive Anchor:

    • Drill a hole in the base material 1/4" in diameter using a carbide tipped drill. Drill the hole minimum 1-3/8" deep (for minimum embedment, if your fixture is thinner the hole should be 1-3/4" - fixture thickness) and blow it clean, or you can drill the hole deep anough to accommodate the dust. Overhead installations Don't need to be blown clean. Caution: oversized holes will reduce the anchors load capacity.
    • Position fixture and insert Split Drive Anchor through fixture hole. 3/8" diameter fixture hole is recomended.
    • Drive anchor until head is flush against fixture.
